Laurie is back from maternity leave and her first case appears to be natural causes, but with time on her hands Laurie delves further into the case to the dismay of the mob. The Mob Capo decides to kidnap her son (JJ) to distract her from the case. Laurie and Jack hire Kidnap Experts to retrieve their son.
